The Savage Gear SGS10 is the pinnacle of the Savage Gear spinning range. It features the very best components and materials combined with some of our most innovative design features and ideas. Strong and light thanks to its aluminium body, rotor and handle, the reel also brings serious performance to the table. Its the first reel to use Savage Gear's Temperature Controlled System (TCS), which uses a combination of an Air Spool ventilator and titanium washers to help cool down the drag system during use. When a drag overheats, it can affect how well it functions and also vastly reduce its lifespan, but with TCS you keep a cool drag and a constant performance. This system can offer a heat reduction of up to 30 percent when compared to traditionally designed spools with metal washers. As if that wasnt enough, the reel is pretty much bombproof when it comes to saltwater resistance it has no less than five Hydro Seals, which are designed to prevent water ingress and give the reels a longer life, which is backed up by an International Ingress Protection Rating of IPX6.
